2008 Legislative Day/California REALTORS® Showcase

REGISTRATION FOR LEGISLATIVE DAY

Legislative Day is an opportunity for REALTORS® from across California to meet with their state legislators to discuss the issues that affect the real estate industry the most. Attending Legislative Day is not only a great investment in your business, it will also provide you with an opportunity to hear from the state’s most dynamic political leaders and the leadership of your state association, and enjoy a fabulous reception.

C.A.R. will present the California REALTOR® Showcase during the June business meetings in Sacramento. Taking place at the Sacramento Convention Center, the showcase will feature more than 100 exhibit booths to help REALTORS® stay informed about the latest real estate products and services.

Registration: There are two ways you can register for Legislative Day.

• You can register through your local association. C.A.R. strongly recommends that you register for Legislative Day by contacting your local association of REALTORS®. Local associations often plan events or luncheons to coincide with Legislative Day and this is the best way to ensure you have signed up for everything.
• You may also register online beginning April 9, 2008. Please check this page again then if you plan to register online.

                                Thursday, June 5, Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m.

  Individual Lunches and Legislator Meetings
  Most local associations organize lunches for their members, while Key Contacts coordinate legislator office visits. Please check with your local association for any of these events or see the Legislative Day Appointments Page for more information.

In honor of C.A.R.’s valued political contributors and State VIPs, come mix and mingle with California’s power elite, at the Capitol Reception .

If you do not know who your legislator is, please Find Your State Legislator  first.  Then refer back to the appointment tables to find out when REALTORS® will be meeting with your legislators and who you should contact for information about participating in these meetings.
